Everything was wonderful: the apartment, the rental company, the personnel. Beautiful landscaping, splendid pool, and helpful staff made our time very enjoyable and relaxing. My favorite thing was the balcony cooled by the gentle breeze.
Stayed for a month at this property. Great location , easy walking 1500 steps to the beach or shopping for replenishments. 40 pesos gets u bus ride to major shopping mall for bulk shopping and than take cab back 30$. There are no basic bathroom or kitchen supplies but a roll of toilet paper when u arrive, so bring soap and some salt pepper spices for kitchen if u r cooking. You also need your own cleaning supplies . Hope they replace the mop as it was almost useless for washing the floor. You can contract a local worker for cleaning $20.00 if u wish. Enjoyed our stay but there were water problems, hot cold water pressures.( common issue elsewhere I believe though). Our water line to washing machine problematic that we had to bucket the water in for wash and rinse cycles from the sink (3 weeks still wasn’t solved when we left)Beautiful grounds, pool, and security in place. I would not recommend this place for a family with kids that want to “play” in the pool , more suitable for those looking for a quiet retreat place. Lots of great restaurants close by to walk to. We only ran the air conditioner at night in bedrooms with rooms closed so our electric bill for the month was 186.00$. Had windows open during the day for nice breeze flow through the condo. We used the communal gas bbq for cooking a lot when we didn’t go out. Loved the local fruit truck that came by in the evenings to buy from . Listen for the honk. Would return but changing it up for next year.
I booked this condo at the last minute after having an issue with a prior property I had reserved on Home Away. I booked this condo 2 weeks before our arrival date and I am so glad I did! This condo is better than the original one I had booked as far as location and space in the condo. The condo is 2 BR 2 bath. Both bedrooms had very comfy beds and tv's. A huge bonus for us since we were traveling with 2 kids was that there were around 10-15 English channels! The living room was spacious and comfy and the kitchen had all the supplies that we could need. I also really enjoyed having the washer and dryer available. We booked through Reliable Realty and they were great! Very speedy with email questions and quick to get to a few minor maintenance issues we had. I would def book with them again! The condo is on the 3rd floor which was great for us. The view of the pool was great and over all the whole property was very well kept and quiet. We were the only ones with kids at the property and we worried a bit about our kids annoying the "snow birds" in the community. We did not have a rental car and did not have any issues walking to restaurants and grocery stores that were near by. One day we took the bus to the Jumbo grocery store to get more supplies than were available at BAM. I recommend using the bus to save money. Only $1 a person vs. $20 for a cab. There was beach access directly across the street from Fresco a restaurant one block from the hotel. Had we not asked other condo guests we would not have known of this beach access that was so close. It is not clearly marked. We walked to the beach almost daily. Lovely beach. Shopping and eateries up and down the coast. Overall we loved this condo and would stay again.
The condo is exactly as pictured! It was very clean, we were greeted properly upon arrival and payments were handled efficiently. Be sure to ask questions on where things are and how things operate in the condo upon arrive - we had to search for the towels (some in closets, some in dresser drawers) and our first showers were in cold water because we didn't know there was a switch that we had to turn on for hot water. If management created a manual or guide for guest, that would be very helpful. The location is great, just a short walk to restaurants and a gorgeous public beach. There were some markets and shops not too far away as well. There is 24-hour onsite security and the surrounding buildings also have security, so we felt safe. Reliable Realty was very helpful in the months leading to our arrival providing details on excursions, transportation, etc. There were a few snags with the guest toilet and the television in the living room not working and due to the holiday, it took longer to get them fixed than I would have liked, but they did get them fixed before our departure. Our overall experience was great, our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
