A 15-minute walk in the opposite direction, is the White Sands shopping district with more shopping, dining, bars, and the Avilon Casino, open to resort guests and the public.
Poppy Express Shuttle Services and quick Uber available
should you want to visit other Beach towns in El Cortecito or Los Corales, or the mall and major shopping areas of Downtown Punta Cana within a 7 - 15-minute drive away.
Public bus transportation is also available for only $1.00 p/p one way, with 20- 25 minute rotations. Pick up is accessible just about anywhere. The Public buses are very safe and used often by tourist, expats, and our friendly Dominican locals.
Please note in an effort to conserve energy, as with most vacation rentals in Punta Cana, electricity is charged separately based on your consumption during your stay. The average cost will normally vary between US$2 and US$10 per day, but could fall outside this range, depending on your usage and can be self monitored daily. The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check-out and will be charged separately and can be paid n cash or from the security deposit

This was my first time visiting Punta Cana and my first time staying in a condo. Both were exactly what I was looking for. As I entered the condo, I immediately smiled as I saw how big and nicely furnished it was. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to have some relaxing meals using local ingredients. We also had an excellent barbecue using the grilling area by the pool. We walked to a grocery store about 10 minutes away a couple of times. We also made use of a car to explore a grocery store and other shops in one of the nearby shopping centres. There are moderately priced restaurants just around the corner from the condo so we enjoyed several meals out too.
The gardens and pool area are well kept giving the area a very relaxing feel. I did a bit of gentle swimming in the morning and relaxed in the lounge chairs at other times. I also liked chatting with a few of the neighbours visiting from other parts of world that I met in the pool area.
The beaches are a short walk from the condo. We enjoyed just walking along the beaches and watching all the activities including people building impressive racing-car "sand castles" and those para-sailing high in the sky, to name just two.
This is a great place to vacation. The condo is spacious and roomy. The family friendly atmosphere was very welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped with up to date appliances. The fridge was immaculate. Lots of room for kids to play and for adults to relax. The bedrooms upstairs are large and there are ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms. Lots of storage. The laundry room is another plus. The balcony is pool side and the grounds are well kept. We felt this was very good value for our travel dollars and would recommend this rental to our friends.
I love this place. It felt like a home away from home and with a small family, feeling comfortable and safe is a very big deal to us. The bedrooms were upstairs from the main living and kitchen areas which was perfect because we could put our daughter to sleep and then head downstairs to watch a movie or hang out and not have to worry about being too noisy. The pool also was right outside our doorstep along with a really cool BBQ area for grilling and eating outside. If we wanted to go out to eat though, we could walk to almost ALL of the restaurants in the little community within 5-10 minutes. Seriously perfect. & The beach was right across the street too! I highly recommend this property. It was beautiful, airy, comfortable and super affordable.
